Meet Jaco, a passionate rugby supporter and movie lover from Benoni. Jaco’s research started by exploring Evetech’s full range of projectors to see what was available. Focusing on value, he filtered his search to find high-performance projectors under R14,000, which provided the perfect sweet spot of price and features. Implementation

The setup was surprisingly straightforward and took less than 30 minutes:

1. Positioning: Jaco placed the projector on a high bookshelf at the back of his lounge, pointed towards a large, plain wall painted a neutral light grey.
2. Connection: He connected his DStv decoder and media box using a standard HDMI cable.
3. Alignment: Using the built-in digital keystone correction and zoom, he squared up the image perfectly to create a massive 100-inch picture.

The Results: A Massive Upgrade

The switch from a standard TV to a home projector was transformative. The new setup didn't just make the picture bigger; it completely changed the atmosphere of the room, turning a standard lounge into a proper home cinema.
