The Storage Process: Step-by-Step

Follow these steps carefully to ensure your figure is safe, secure, and ready for its next unboxing.

1. Clean and Prepare Your Figure

First, give your figure a gentle clean. Use a soft, clean makeup brush or a can of compressed air to remove any dust from its surface and crevices. Check for any small, detachable accessories, like Toga’s knives or mask. It’s best to detach these and place them in their specific slots in the packaging, just as they arrived. This process is the same for small, cute Kawaii figures and larger, more complex models.

2. Secure the Figure in its Original Packaging

This is the most critical step. Carefully place the figure back into its original plastic clamshell mould. This packaging was custom-made to hold the figure securely, preventing any movement that could cause scuffs or breakage. If all parts are snug in the plastic, close the clamshell and ensure it snaps shut.

Q: Does it matter if I store the box standing up or lying down? A: If the figure is secured in its original plastic mould, either orientation is perfectly fine. The custom packaging is designed to hold it safely regardless of position. If you've made a custom box, storing it horizontally on its back is generally the safest bet.
