Evetech delivers student laptops to Soshanguve, Pretoria North, via courier. Student laptops start at R8,000 at Evetech — an AMD Ryzen 5 model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD at R9,500–R11,000 handles all Tshwane University of Technology or UP coursework without strain.
Soshanguve is a large township north of Pretoria in the City of Tshwane municipality. Evetech couriers cover the area on standard Gauteng routes. Add a contact number for the driver.
For TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) or UP (University of Pretoria) Mamelodi campus students: the R9,000–R11,000 AMD Ryzen 5 5625U or Intel Core i5-1235U tier covers all coursework requirements — 8 GB RAM handles 20+ browser tabs plus MS Office without slowing; 256 GB SSD boots Windows in under 15 seconds. IT, Engineering, or Architecture students should budget R12,000–R15,000 for 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD to comfortably run IDEs, VMs, and CAD. NSFAS provides R5,200 toward a laptop — budget an additional R2,800–R6,000 from bursary or savings to reach the minimum.
Check the outer box before signing — look for dents at the corners and edges where foam compression occurs during transit. Power on and test: all keyboard keys, trackpad click and gestures, display (white-background dead-pixel check), USB-A and USB-C ports, Wi-Fi, webcam. Record any fault with photos and your order number.
