The Solution: A Dedicated Setup for Each Host

Levelling up a multi-guest stream means moving from a shared setup to individualised gear for each person. The goal is to capture clean, isolated audio and video for everyone at the table, giving you ultimate control in post-production. This required a complete rethink of their audio and lighting, moving them into the world of proper streaming essentials.

### The Gear & Implementation

The team’s upgrade focused on two key areas: audio isolation and group lighting.

1. Audio Overhaul: The single USB mic was retired. They invested in a 4-channel audio interface and three individual PC microphones, one for each host. This allowed them to record each voice onto a separate track. They chose a mix of mics to suit their voices, including options from both Saramonic and Corsair.
2. Group Lighting: To light three people evenly, they used a large, diffused key light as their main source. They also added some background flair with programmable Cololight panels to give their set a signature look.

The Results: Broadcast-Ready Quality

The transformation from a single mic to a multi-channel setup was huge. It not only improved the live sound but also made editing the podcast infinitely easier.
