Quick Answer

Evetech delivers gaming desks to Centurion within 2–4 business days of dispatch. Centurion sits in Tshwane and is a standard-zone delivery destination from Evetech's Midrand base. Gaming desks range from R1,800 for entry 120 cm models to R9,000+ for electric sit-stand versions. The Midrand store is 35–45 km from most Centurion suburbs for buyers who prefer click-and-collect.

Delivery to Centurion

Centurion covers suburbs from Lyttelton and Irene in the south to Highveld Technopark and Centurion CBD in the central area. All fall within Evetech's standard courier network. Orders placed on weekdays for in-stock items dispatch within 1–2 days; courier transit on the Pretoria/Centurion route adds a further 1–2 days.

Desk boxes are flat-pack and large — a 140 cm desk ships in a box roughly 145 cm × 75 cm × 15 cm at 25–35 kg. Courier drivers bring items to the door but won't carry them upstairs. If your delivery address involves stairs or a lift (common in Centurion's Highveld office park zone), ensure someone strong is available at ground level to assist.

Gaming Desk Price Tiers

R1,800–R2,800: basic fixed-height, 120–130 cm, steel legs, MDF top. Suited for a student or entry gaming setup with a single monitor.

R3,000–R5,500: quality fixed-height with cable management, 140–160 cm wide, 65–70 cm deep. Handles dual monitors and a full-tower PC comfortably.

R5,500–R9,000: electric sit-stand. Single- or dual-motor, height memory, rated for 80–100 kg. Worth it for Centurion professionals in dedicated home offices.

Pickup at Midrand

From Lyttelton: the N14 to Midrand takes about 35–40 minutes. From Highveld/Centurion North: via the N1 South it's 40–50 minutes. Click-and-collect is available — order and pay online, confirm stock, drive to collect. Bring a bakkie or an SUV with folded rear seats for a 140 cm+ desk box.

FAQ

How long does gaming desk delivery take to Centurion?

In-stock items dispatched Monday–Wednesday reach most Centurion suburbs by Thursday or Friday of the same week. Orders placed Thursday–Friday typically dispatch the following Monday. Total delivery time is 2–4 business days from the order date for in-stock items.

What delivery address format works best for Centurion estates?

Include your complex name, unit number, street address, and suburb (e.g. "Unit 12, Irene Village, 15 Rose Avenue, Irene, Centurion"). For gated estates with guard houses, add a note that a large flat-pack parcel is expected — the guard can pre-alert the courier to come to the boom without a delay.

Can I collect a gaming desk from Evetech without a bakkie?

A large SUV (Fortuner, Prado, Santa Fe) with all rear seats folded can accommodate most 140 cm desk boxes if positioned diagonally. A standard sedan cannot. If you don't have a suitable vehicle, home delivery is the simpler choice — the courier handles the large box to your door.

TIP

in Highveld Technopark or Irene: both areas are on Vumatel and Openserve fibre networks. If you're setting up a new gaming desk, install the ethernet port in the desk wall rather than relying on Wi-Fi — a wired connection reduces ping by 5–20 ms in online games, which matters in ranked play.
