Codec and Latency Details

All four models use 2.4GHz wireless for gaming with under 20ms audio latency. The G733 uses Logitech's LIGHTSPEED protocol for under 1ms wireless on the 2.4GHz dongle. For Krugersdorp gamers playing latency-critical competitive games, any 2.4GHz headset in this list outperforms Bluetooth headsets significantly. Bluetooth audio adds 100–200ms delay on most codecs (aptX LL reduces this to 40ms) — not suitable for gaming.

FAQ

Which wireless headsets are reliably in stock at Evetech for Krugersdorp collection?

The HyperX Cloud III Wireless and Logitech G935 are among the most consistently stocked wireless headsets at Evetech. The Arctis Nova 7 and G733 LIGHTSPEED are usually available but stock fluctuates. Always check the live availability indicator on the Evetech product page before planning a collection trip from Krugersdorp.

What battery life should a Krugersdorp gamer look for in a wireless headset?

Aim for at least 25 to 30 hours of battery life. This means a 4-to-5-hour-per-night gamer charges once per week. The HyperX Cloud III Wireless at 35 hours and Arctis Nova 7 at 38 hours both meet this bar. The G935 at 12 hours requires daily charging for heavy users — fine for casual play.

Is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 worth the extra R700 over the Cloud III Wireless?

Yes if you prioritise microphone quality or multi-device use. The Nova 7's ClearCast Gen 2 AI noise cancellation makes a significant difference in squad comms in noisy households. Simultaneous dual wireless also allows your phone and PC/console to be connected at the same time — a genuine convenience advantage.

TIP

stock at Evetech for Krugersdorp collection, look for the 'in stock' label rather than 'available to order' — the latter means the item ships from a supplier, not the warehouse, and same-day collection is not possible for those SKUs.
