The smart streaming PC for photogrammetry is one whose processor, graphics support, memory and storage pass a representative reconstruction while leaving enough stability for the intended broadcast. A streaming label does not prove suitability for thousands of high-resolution images or long dense-processing stages.
Benchmark the photo set and broadcast separately
Run alignment and the normal output on a representative project. Record memory, GPU use, cache growth, temperature and completion time. Then test a private stream with the usual camera, audio and upload. Decide whether both jobs must overlap or can be scheduled.
The Palit RTX 5060 8GB at R4,800 is a verified GPU component, not a complete photogrammetry machine. Verify current application support, memory generation, BIOS, power, cooling and warranties.
Keep photographs, control information and projects in independent versioned backups. Leave SSD capacity for cache and preserve an original copy before processing. Use an unlisted stream to inspect dropped frames and hide sensitive map or client details.
Build within the stated limit only after a complete compatible parts table and both tests pass. If dense work exceeds it, reduce scope, schedule remote compute or save for verified requirements rather than claiming workstation performance.
