A standing desk is worthwhile for Sage and Xero work only when it lets the user alternate comfortable seated and standing positions during long data-entry sessions. Measure both working positions

Test cable travel slowly.

Choose the desk when alternating positions feels useful and the room accommodates its range safely. Standing all day is not the goal; movement and posture changes are. Begin with short standing periods, use supportive footwear and keep the monitor readable. A stable conventional desk may remain better where space or cable routing is tight.
