A wrist rest for home office work should cost a small fraction of the wider workspace budget and should be selected by keyboard height, material and hand position. It is a light contact surface, not a place to press the wrists down continuously while typing.
Correct the workstation relationship first
Set the chair so feet are supported and elbows sit near keyboard height. Keep the keyboard close enough that shoulders remain relaxed. Measure its front-edge height and width, then compare a rest that supports the heel of the hand without creating a sharp pressure point.
A priced wrist rest is not included in the factpack. The HBADA E3 Pro chair at R5,700 and Dell S2725QC 4K USB-C monitor at R6,128 are separate ergonomic-workspace references. They do not validate a wrist accessory. Check current wrist-rest dimensions, firmness, cover texture, cleaning instructions, base grip, return terms and warranty before buying.
Avoid sustained pressure over the carpal-tunnel area and float the hands during active typing. Clean shared surfaces, vary tasks and take movement breaks. Persistent tingling, weakness or pain calls for appropriate professional guidance rather than another accessory.
Buy the simplest measured option that aligns with the keyboard. Reserve the broader budget for confirmed needs such as seating fit, display position or reliable backup.
