Quick Answer

For MMOs and live-service games in Westonaria, pair a Ryzen 5 7600 with an RTX 4060 (8GB) and 32GB DDR5 for 90-120 fps at 1440p in World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV and Destiny 2. A tower lands around R18,000-R23,000, delivered into the Gauteng West Rand courier zone with full warranty.

MMO performance is CPU and memory first

Raids, world bosses and crowded hubs in MMOs swamp the processor with simultaneous actors, so a fast Ryzen 5 7600 and 32GB DDR5 matter more than a top-tier GPU. The extra memory stops the stutter you get when Eorzea or the EDZ streams new assets, and lets you run Discord and a build wiki without dropping frames mid-raid.

Monitor and storage choices

A 27-inch 1440p 165Hz IPS panel (about R4,500-R6,500) is ideal for dense MMO UIs and smooth action combat in Guild Wars 2 or New World. Pair it with a 1TB NVMe SSD so three live-service installs fit at once, since stacked seasonal content can exceed 350GB.

Westonaria fibre and delivery

Westonaria and the wider West Rand have growing Openserve and Vumatel fibre coverage; an uncapped line keeps you under 50ms to local servers and handles 30-80GB seasonal patches. Evetech delivers within 2-4 working days in this Gauteng zone, with the tower under warranty for hassle-free support.

FAQ

What fps does an RTX 4060 hit in MMOs at 1440p?

Around 90-120 fps on high settings in FFXIV, WoW and Destiny 2. Cap at your monitor refresh for the smoothest frame pacing in raids.

Is 32GB RAM worth it over 16GB?

For MMOs, yes. 32GB removes hub stutter and lets you keep Discord, a browser and the game open together during long sessions.

How long is delivery to Westonaria?

Typically 2-4 working days in the Gauteng West Rand zone, with full warranty so repairs do not need a trip to central Joburg.
