Mossel Bay Based Gamers What Cinematic Story needs a balanced check of fit, comfort, compatibility, warranty, and real setup needs. Use this cautious guide to compare options before buying in South Africa.
For cinematic story games, cinematic story games (God of War Ragnarok, Alan Wake 2, the Last of Us Part I) reward GPU power and a good panel over raw refresh rate. An RTX 4060 at R6,500–R7,500 handles 1080p Ultra; an RTX 4070 near R12,000–R14,000 brings 1440p Ultra with ray-traced lighting. Everything below is currently stocked at Evetech with courier delivery to Mossel Bay.
A Ryzen 5 7600 (around R4,500) and 32GB DDR5 keep frame pacing smooth so cutscenes and traversal stay clean. Plan for 60–75 fps at 1440p Ultra on an RTX 4070 with ray tracing, or a locked 60 fps on an RTX 4060 at 1080p Ultra.
Spend the most on the part this workload leans on, then round out memory, storage and a quiet power supply rather than chasing a single headline component. A 1TB NVMe SSD (around R900–R1,200) and 32GB DDR5 are the upgrades that pay off across almost every cinematic story games workflow.
Mossel Bay buyers on the Garden Route order from Evetech with courier delivery via George and the coast. Fibre from Vumatel and Openserve reaches most suburbs, with 50–200 Mbps lines common for online play, downloads and updates. Every component carries the standard local warranty, so a fault in Mossel Bay is handled the same way as in George.
Ray tracing lifts lighting in Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, but it is optional. An RTX 4070 handles RT at 1440p with DLSS; an RTX 4060 is better keeping RT off at a steady 60 fps.
A 27-inch 1440p IPS panel with strong contrast beats a high-refresh TN for cinematic visuals. Look for 95%+ sRGB coverage so colours match the artists' intent.
16GB runs most story games at 1080p, but 32GB DDR5 is the safer 2026 choice and prevents texture-streaming stutters in newer titles. The upgrade costs roughly R1,000–R1,500.
Match the part the workload leans on first, then confirm stock and warranty with Evetech before ordering to Mossel Bay.
