A 750W power supply is not selected from a coding-bootcamp budget. It is relevant only if the student builds a desktop whose exact processor, graphics card and internal components need that capacity; coding tools themselves use modest power.

Choose the computer before the PSU

List course software, Docker or virtual-machine needs, portability and support. Decide between laptop, mini PC and tower. For a desktop, write every part and follow reliable power guidance, allowing sensible headroom while checking connectors and case fit.

Buy a 750W unit only after a final tower configuration justifies it. Most bootcamp students gain more from memory, responsive storage and dependable support than unused power capacity.

Check whether the bootcamp venue already supplies monitors and wired networking before completing the purchase list.
