Delivery to Daveyton

Daveyton is a township east of Benoni in the Ekurhuleni metro. Evetech couriers service the area on standard Gauteng routes. Use a full street address with postal code (1520) and a contact number; avoid PO Boxes for electronics. Most Gauteng deliveries arrive within 2–3 business days from dispatch. Evetech sends tracking via SMS and email once the parcel ships.

Choosing a Tablet: What to Know

Tablet choice depends on your main use. Students and readers: an R2,500–R4,000 Android tablet with a 10-inch display and 64–128 GB storage handles ebooks, PDF annotations, and basic note-taking well. Professionals and content creators: R6,000–R9,000 buys a tablet with a 2K display, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and stylus support — productive enough for light illustration and document editing. For video calling, check the front camera resolution: 5 MP or higher for clear Zoom or Teams calls. A 6,000–8,000 mAh battery gives 8–12 hours of light use per charge.

Receiving and Inspecting Your Tablet

Tablet screens are the most fragile component in transit — check the outer box for corner or edge damage before signing. Power on immediately and check: screen uniformity (dead pixels and backlight bleed), all physical buttons (power, volume, home if present), USB-C or micro-USB charging, front and rear cameras, and Wi-Fi. Report any defect to Evetech within 48 hours with photos and your order number.

Setting Up Your Tablet

Sign into a Google account to access the Play Store and restore app data. Install your preferred LMS, email app, and cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive). Add a screen protector immediately — glass tablets are prone to micro-scratches from daily use; tempered glass protectors at R100–R200 are stocked at Evetech.
