A smart surge-protected power strip for drone mapping should safely power the workstation, displays, chargers and external storage without exceeding its rating. It does not accelerate map processing or protect field data by itself. Verified protection, socket layout and a visible status indicator matter more than an impressive number of outlets. Cable length should suit the mapping desk.
Map the office charging load
The factpacks contain no surge-protected strip with a verified price. Check current Evetech availability for protection rating, maximum load, socket spacing, status indicator, cable length, local plug compatibility, replacement guidance and warranty. Confirm that every battery charger is approved for the strip and operating environment.
List the PC, monitors, storage and chargers, then add their rated loads. Leave bulky adapters enough space and keep the strip away from liquids, dust and chair movement. Never join one strip to another or charge damaged batteries. Follow drone and battery manufacturer safety guidance during every charge.
Copy field imagery to organised storage and maintain an independent backup before processing. Use a correctly sized UPS when controlled workstation shutdown is required. The strip is smart when it safely consolidates a measured office load and its protection remains easy to inspect. It should never become a substitute for supervised charging, battery care or a tested data-recovery plan.
