The Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 is a 16-inch RTX Spark convertible at $2,999.99 in the US, with the 18-core N1X and a pen. It is not listed in South Africa; the local RTX Spark 2-in-1 starts at R84,999.
The Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 is Lenovo's 16-inch RTX Spark convertible, and it is the closest overseas rival to the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ that South Africans can already buy. It folds into a tablet, comes with a pen in its US configuration and uses the smaller 18-core version of NVIDIA's N1X chip. Here is what that means, and why one memory figure in Lenovo's own launch material needs reading carefully.
Lenovo's US store lists the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 at $2,999.99, with an 18-core N1X, a 16-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen, a 99.9Wh battery and the Lenovo Yoga Pen Gen 2. There was no Evetech listing for it on 22 October 2026. The convertible you can buy here is the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+, from R84,999, which uses the larger 20-core chip.
Lenovo's US product page names the processor as the N1X 18-core. NVIDIA's RTX Spark page lists two laptop versions of N1X: a 20-core CPU with a 6,144-core GPU and up to 128GB, and an 18-core CPU with a 5,120-core GPU and up to 64GB.
Lenovo's launch release is not fully consistent. Its main text and specification row say up to 64GB of LPDDR5X, while one thermal line in the same table mentions up to 128GB. Because the 18-core chip tops out at 64GB on NVIDIA's own page, 64GB is the reading that fits the configuration Lenovo is selling. If large local AI models are the reason you want RTX Spark, that ceiling matters.
Lenovo's US page lists a 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED touchscreen with HDR True Black 1000, 100% DCI-P3 colour, 120Hz and a glass cover, and quotes up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness. The US configuration includes the Lenovo Yoga Pen Gen 2 with a case.
Lenovo gives a 70W TDP with dual fans and a four-heat-pipe cooler, a 99.9Wh battery and a weight of 1.94kg. That makes it a full-size 16-inch convertible rather than an ultralight, much like the MSI it competes with.
The MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is the useful comparison because you can buy it here. It uses the 20-core N1X with 64GB or 128GB of unified memory, a 16-inch OLED touchscreen and the MSI Nano Pen, at R84,999 or R134,999. Our MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ price guide explains which configuration suits which work.
